I honestly don’t really know what to say… But when the psychopath is still following her, leaving a creepily eerie trail of gold dust, all signs are pointing to Zara that something is not right, not normal, not human… Anyway, moving to a sleepy but freezing Maine town, is meant to be the perfect fix. She is beginning to get nervous, chanting her fears, her phobias. Strange things start to happen and Zara finds that she has not been herself lately. And that is because she starts to suspect that a freaky guy is stalking her. ![]() ![]() Except, this plan of sending her away is not working. Back in high school, though, I didn't read only romance books I had a preference for YA novels. I have always been a romantic at heart, so I want everyone to have a happy ending whenever I read a book, especially people who fall in love with someone who complements them perfectly. I started reading romance novels back in high school. And since I've read so many books this year, I want to share my favorite ones. I don't think I've read more than 100 books since 2019, so 2022 is already a win for me. It features two friends, one incredible little girl, and a kaleidoscope of feelings along. It touches on the creative spirit and all that comes with sharing that gift, and how oftentimes the comedians in our lives are the most sensitive, or struggling. This year has been very good in terms of reading. Funny Feelings is a swoony story about friendship, love, and looking for the laugh in life. ![]() ![]() ![]() Among the items Erb and Goldfarb have unearthed is a catalogue from a 1947 exhibition of American Surrealism at the Art Institute of Chicago that included a painting by Leiter, who was then twenty-four. You then have the remaining twelve cards as options for the second one, eleven for the next, and so on – giving just over 6 billion possibilities for arranging a mere thirteen cards. If you have thirteen cards to shuffle, then there are thirteen possible cards you could put down first. So when a mathematician writes things like $5! = 120$ and $13! = 6,\!227,\!020,\!800$ the exclamation mark represents both factorial and pure excitement. Factorials are mathematically interesting for several reasons, possibly the most common being that they represent the ways objects can be shuffled. The values of factorials get alarmingly big so, conveniently, the function is written in shorthand as an exclamation mark. ![]() For example: $\operatorname(5) = 5 \times 4 \times 3 \times 2 \times 1 = 120$.
